  • 1:05 a.m. Clyde Mitchell, 59, 732 Middle Leesville Rd., operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol content of 0.15 percent or higher, OWI per se, OWI

  • 5:52 p.m. Clifford Edmonson, 44, 805 Patriot Lane, possession of marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance

  • 8:18 p.m. Police made extra patrols in the 1200 block of 3rd Street
  • 8:14 p.m. Traffic stop at M and 19th streets
  • 5:52 p.m. Request for an officer in the 800 block of Patriot Lane. A man was arrested
  • 5:40 p.m. Information report taken in the 500 block of Bellback Road
  • 3:45 p.m. Agency assist at Peerless and Peerless Quarry roads
  • 3:34 p.m. Traffic hazard at State Road 37 and 16th Street
  • 2:26 p.m. School patrols
  • 2:21 p.m. Police made extra patrols in the 1920 block of 12th Street

  • 7:56 a.m. Medical emergency in the 30 block of Lincoln Avenue. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded

  • 10:27 p.m. Repossession of a vehicle in the 1420 block of Beech Street
  • 10:31 p.m. Suspicious person in the 3210 block of Shawnee Drive South

  • 9:20 a.m. Phillip Craig, 87, Williams, wanted on a warrant for battery
  • 2:05 p.m. Michael Morales, 37, homeless, wanted on warrants for burglary, theft, criminal mischief
  • 5:30 p.m. Dillon Shaw, 24, Mitchell, wanted on a warrant for a parole violation
  • 8:25 p.m. Collin Flynn, 27, Mitchell, wanted on a warrant in Orange County

Incidents - Feb. 1

  • 12:23 a.m. Traffic stop at Patton Hill in front of the cemetery
  • 12:30 a.m. Report of possible trafficking at Hoosier Avenue and Oolitic Road
  • 1:41 a.m. Disturbance at Hunters Creek Road. A female reported a male was intoxicated and assaulted her in the vehicle. The woman took the keys of the vehicle and left him at the campsite on Hunters Creek Road past the church. The woman told police she has been walking for two hours to get a cell phone signal. She says she has cut her hand. Since the incident happened in Monroe County, Monroe County police were alerted and responded
  • 1:42 a.m. Police made extra patrols on Erie Church Road
  • 2:40 a.m. Medical emergency in the 190 block of Terry Park Lane. A 84-year-old male was having trouble breathing
  • 3:04 a.m. Repossession in the 480 block of Dogwood Acres Drive
  • 4:38 a.m. Request for animal control to the 11880 block of US 50 West for a stray coonhound
  • 5:28 a.m. Alarm sounding in the 3270 block of Port Williams Road
  • 5:37 a.m. Erratic driver in a dark-colored vehicle northbound on State Road 37 from Orleans
  • 6:51 a.m. Medical emergency in the 8070 block of US 50 West. A 67-year-old female was complaining of an unknown illness
  • 7:45 a.m. Police made extra patrols at BNL High School
  • 7:45 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Needmore School
  • 7:45 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Heltonville School,
  • 7:46 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Shawswick School
  • 7:52 a.m. Animal control in the 130 block of Vinegar Hill Road. The caller says the neighbor's dog is running loose and being aggressive
  • 8:16 a.m. Medical emergency in the 3540 block of Leesville Road. A female was dizzy
  • 9:34 a.m. Controlled fire in the 8640 block of US 50 East
  • 10:31 a.m. Medical emergency in the 360 block of North Lakeview Lane. A 56-year-old female was on the floor suffering an extreme headache
  • 11:04 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1870 block of Sieboldt Quarry Road. A 90-year-old male was ill and weak
  • 11:12 a.m. Citizen assist in the 240 block of Fortner Lane. The person has a court order for an officer to assist in retrieving personal property from the home
  • 12:15 p.m. Request for animal control to the 140 block of Briar Avenue. Two dogs were abandoned in cages inside the home with no food or water for about three to four days
  • 12:58 p.m. Report of a lost child at Springville Elementary School. A 11 to 12-year-old male with short brown hair and brown eyes last seen wearing a green camo jacket with orange and jeans was missing. The child was found at 1:17 p.m. at his grandparents house and police returned the child to the school
  • 1:51 p.m. Medical emergency alarm sounding in the 5630 block of State Road 158
  • 3:14 p.m. Traffic stop at Gilbert Drive and Hancock Avenue
  • 3:34 p.m. Report that pipes fell off a truck on State Road 37 at 16th Street
  • 3:38 p.m. Citizen dispute in the 10 block of Rager Road. The caller says her tenant is refusing to let her in and they need to check on a plumbing problem
  • 3:38 p.m. Traffic top at Teke Burton Drive and Hancock Avenue. A motorist was cited for expired license plates
  • 3:57 p.m. Traffic stop at Greeco's pizza parking lot
  • 4:07 p.m. Traffic stop at Peerless Road by the fire barn
  • 4:08 p.m. Report of a burglary in the 1350 block of Church Camp Road. The caller says they came home and found the back door open. Police found no one inside and nothing was missing
  • 4:17 p.m. Traffic stop at Dive Christian Church
  • 4:23 p.m. Document service in the 210 block of N 12th Street in Mitchell
  • 4:25 p.m. Agency assist in the 40 block of The Trails. A man wanted on a warrant for a parole violation was arrested
  • 4:26 p.m. Report of a burglary in the 2050 block of Fort Ritner Road. The son had returned home from school and found 4 firearms missing from the gun safe. There are also holes in the walls and the house has been trashed
  • 4:45 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a burgundy F-150 northbound on State Road 37 at State Road 60 East
  • 4:48 p.m. Traffic stop on North 4th Street and Warren Street
  • 5 p.m. A resident in the 5870 block of State Road reported a healthcare scam and wanting the woman's social security number and he would be at her house tomorrow to gather her information
  • 6:35 p.m. A resident in the 730 block of State Road 446 reported her mailbox was hit and destroyed. A neighbor had stopped saying he had hit the mailbox and would take care of the damages
  • 6:46 p.m. 911 call from the 610 block of West Warren Street. The female caller was very intoxicated and dispatchers were unable to decipher what she was saying. Police responded there was no problem
  • 7:17 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 60 East at Terry's gas station
  • 7:30 p.m. Warrant service in the 430 block of Davey Cox Road. A male wanted on a warrant was arrested
  • 7:32 p.m. Agency assist in the 800 block of Pride Estates
  • 7:45 p.m. Report of a small truck southbound on State Road 37 at Patton Hill with no tail lights
  • 7:53 p.m. Warrant service in the 430 block of Davey Cox Road
  • 8:18 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and 35th Street
  • 8:24 p.m. Citizen dispute in the 110 block of Lynch Road. The caller says a tenant has changed the locks and removed the caller's property and hauling it off or is selling it
  • 8:51 p.m. Repossession in the 3110 block of John Williams Boulevard
  • 8:54 p.m. Traffic stop at Mitchell Road between the hospital and Pappa's
  • 8:57 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and State Road 60 East
  • 9:01 p.m. Agency assist in the 2580 block of Tunnelton Denniston Road. A male had taken pills he does not have a prescription for and his pupils are huge and the whites of his eyes are gray
  • 9:16 p.m. Traffic stop at Sinclair parking lot
  • 9:38 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37, north of Oolitic
  • 9:44 p.m. Traffic stop at North Second and East Main streets in Mitchell
  • 9:50 p.m. Medical emergency in the 460 block of Briarwood Lane. A person had fallen
  • 9:57 p.m. Traffic stop at US 50 East and State Road 446
  • 9:57 p.m. Warrant service at South Second and South Mississippi Avenue
  • 10 p.m. Unwanted person in the 80 block of Gun Club Road. The resident is in the hospital and no one is to be at her home. The woman's son is there and refusing to leave
  • 10:16 p.m. Warrant service in the 220 block of North Fourth Street in Mitchell
  • 11:06 p.m. Traffic stop at Patton Hill Road and Vista Drive
  • 11:23 p.m. Traffic stop at Hoosier Avenue at WeatherMasters
  • 11:26 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1330 block of Poplar Street. A person had fallen

Accidents - Feb. 1

  • 11:30 a.m. Property damage accident at Mitchell Road near Jackson's Mini Mart
  • 3:41 p.m. Accident with possible injuries at Peerless and Peerless Quarry roads
  • 5:03 p.m. Property damage accident in the 1490 block of Clark Smith Road. A vehicle had ran off the roadway and struck a tree
