Arrests - Jan. 9

  • 7 p.m. Mathew Nordhoff, 57, Heltonville, disorderly conduct, public intoxication
  • 6:29 p.m. Terry Luttrell, 60, 206 17th St., two counts of public intoxication, resisting arrest, two counts of disorderly conduct
  • 6:55 p.m. Richard Dickerson, 53, Kissimmee, FL, operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol content of 0.15 or greater, leaving the scene of an injury accident, resisting arrest by force, resisting arrest by fleeing and cited for driving left of center.
  • 5:21 p.m. Ingrid Nordhoff, 48, Heltonville, disorderly conduct, public intoxication

  • 7 p.m. A male was causing a disturbance at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital. The male was arrested
  • 6:36 p.m. Police made extra patrols in the 630 block of Q Street
  • 6:29 p.m. A male was on station causing a disturbance. The male was arrested
  • 6:24 p.m. Information report taken in the 2810 block of Broadview Drive
  • 5:53 p.m. Domestic fight in the 1320 block of U Street
  • 5:21 p.m. A female was causing a disturbance at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital. The female was arrested
  • 5:08 p.m. Found property at Reveres Food & Fuel
  • 4:55 p.m. Sex offense reported in the 1000 block of 16th Street
  • 4:49 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1900 block of Windwood Drive. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded
  • 4:03 p.m. Medical emergency in the 2410 block of 16th Street. An AMR ambulance responded
  • 3:47 p.m. Identity theft reported in the 1410 block of Hillcrest Road
  • 3:21 p.m. Request for a welfare check in th 1100 block of 24th Street
  • 3:11 p.m. Domestic fight in the 400 block of M Street
  • 2:47 p.m. Unlawful entry in the 1610 block of First Street
  • 2:34 p.m. School patrols
  • 2:08 p.m. Abandoned vehicle at Charlie's Fireworks
  • 2:07 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1300 block of K Street. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded
  • 10:48 a.m. Theft reported at First Church of God on 16th Street

  • 8:43 a.m. Alarm sounding in the 2930 block of Brock Lane
  • 2:07 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1110 block of Lincoln Avenue. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded
  • 12:11 a.m. Open door found in the 1000 block of 17th Street

  • 10:37 p.m. Request for an officer to the 2020 block of I Street
  • 9:52 p.m. Repossession at Wal-Mart
  • 9:38 p.m. Theft at Buffalo Wings & Rings
  • 9:13 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1410 block of Hillcrest Road. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded

  • 1:45 a.m. Jesse Hill, 35, Mitchell, wanted on a warrant in another county

  • 6:56 p.m. Pamela Ryan, 48, Springville, speeding
  • 4:04 p.m. Robert Fleetwood, 18, Heltonville, speeding
Incidents - Jan. 9
  • 12:05 a.m. Domestic fight in the 930 block of Tulip Street. The caller says she and her daughter had a verbal fight and she has left the home and headed toward State Road 60 East. The caller says her daughter is wanted on a warrant wants an officer to stop her vehicle
  • 12:16 a.m. Report of a drug activity in the 930 block of Tulip Street. The caller says she had a domestic fight with her daughter and she had left the home and now she has found drugs in her room and is requesting to speak to an officer
  • 1:20 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Woodville Road
  • 2:05 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1110 block of Lincoln Avenue. A 76-year-old was suffering a possible stroke
  • 2:14 a.m. IU Health Hospital ambulance crews requested assistants in bringing the patient down the stairs
  • 4:10 a.m. Report the bridge is flooding on State Road 37 in the northbound lanes, south of Washboard Road. The caller says it looks like the drains are stopped up. INDOT was alerted
  • 5:19 a.m. Disabled vehicle on US 50 East at Stars Boulevard. The vehicle had a flat tire
  • 5:30 a.m. Disabled vehicle on State Road 37 at Avoca exit
  • 6:15 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1210 block of Elm Park Drive. A male was ill
  • 6:58 a.m. Disabled vehicle stuck in the road on hll blocking both lanes on Star Lane and Old Buddha Road
  • 6:59 a.m. Report of a water leak in a home in the 30 block of Lakeside Estates
  • 8:37 p.m. Request for animal control in the 3580 block of Persimmon Ridge Acres. A stray black dog was at the home. The dog was taken to the humane society
  • 8:44 a.m. Report of vehicles stuck in the roadway in the 20 block of Steve Earl Road. A county sand truck responded
  • 9:23 a.m. Lift assist needed in the 240 block of Leesville Road. A male had fallen and needs help getting up
  • 9:24 a.m. Police made extra patrols in the 320 block of BNL Drive
  • 9:45 a.m. Report of an unwanted male at Bloom Bank on Main Street in Mitchell. A no trespass order was served
  • 9:47 a.m. A truck lost a porta potty on State Road 37, north of Mitchell
  • 9:56 a.m. Request for animal control to the 2270 block of Stevens Lane on horses that are not being fed or cared for. Animal control says the horses were in poor condition and would follow up with the owners
  • 10:22 a.m. Vandalism in the 510 block of South Sixth Street in Mitchell. The windows on two vehicle were broken out sometime overnight
  • 10:48 a.m. Police made extra patrols on Smith Avenue in Oolitic
  • 10:58 a.m. Police made extra patrols on Walnut Street in Oolitic
  • 11:41 a.m. Medical emergency in the 210 block of North Sixth Street in Mitchell. A female was breathing but unresponsive
  • 11:57 a.m. Police assisted probation at a home in the 310 block of Frank Street
  • 1:09 p.m. Report of residential entry in the 1190 block of Younger Road. The caller says someone had been inside her home and not sure if they are still inside. Police checked the home and found no one inside. The caller will phone back if she finds anything missing
  • 1:17 p.m Request for animal control near the Fayetteville Store on Old Farm Road. A dog is tied to the bumper of a truck and is underneath the vehicle in the mud and water and the caller requests the dog be check on. The dog was inside the home when animal control arrived
  • 1:18 p.m. Drugs were found in the lobby of the 1140 block of Camelot Courts
  • 2:29 p.m. Request for animal control in the 300 block of Farmer Street. A blue heeler was running around on the caller's property and the dog has not been feed or watered by the owners. The dog was taken to the humane society
  • 2:35 p.m. Request for animal control to the 1310 block of South Kenray Lake Road. The caller had a stray beagle mix. The dog was taken to the humane society
  • 2:36 p.m. Request for animal control to Springville Store for a beagle mix trying to get into the store. The dog was done when animal control arrived
  • 2:42 p.m. Report of a vehicle losing gravel load in the westbound lane of US 50 West and State Road 60 West
  • 2:47 p.m. Controlled fire in the 1700 block of Dunn Bridge Road
  • 2:54 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a small silver car making bad passes on US 50 East, eastbound
  • 3:11 p.m. Police made extra patrols at BNL High School
  • 3:23 p.m. Traffic stop in the 500 block of Elkins Road in Heltonville
  • 3:29 p.m. Report that a small child was locked inside of a car in the JayC store parking lot in Mitchell
  • 3:33 p.m. Traffic stop at West Pleasant Run and Bartlettsville Road
  • 4:04 p.m. Traffic stop at Bartlettsville Road and Todd Lane. A citation was issued
  • 4:15 p.m. Fire alarm sounding in the 700 block of Hancock Avenue. The caller says they don't see or smell any smoke. Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department responded
  • 4:25 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1500 block of Motocross Road. A female was having trouble breathing
  • 4:26 p.m. Medical emergency in the 60 block of Hel Mar Drive. A 77-year-old female fell and possibly broke her leg
  • 4:45 p.m. Request for animal control to the 8360 block of State Road 158 for a stray duck. The duck was captured and relocated
  • 4:45 p.m. Request for animal control to the 570 block of Sunny Acres Drive. A cat was stuck in the furnace. The cat was freed with the assistance of police
  • 4:46 p.m. Lift assist in the 1900 block of Windwood Drive. An 80-year-old male had fallen and keeps losing consciousness
  • 5:11 p.m. Report of a man wearing a Carhartt jacket and jeans walking in and out of traffic on State Road 37 and US 50 West
  • 5:15 p.m. Disabled vehicle on US 50 East and Stove Road
  • 5:17 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 200 block of Vista Drive in Oolitic. It was a false alarm
  • 6:03 p.m. Controlled fire in the 5650 block of State Road 54 West
  • 6:27 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 60 block of Williams Street. Police say the home was secure
  • 6:56 p.m. Traffic stop at Morningside Drive and Springville Judah Road. A citation was issued
  • 7 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 750 block of Erie Church Road. It was a false alarm
  • 7:03 p.m. Report of an abandoned vehicle on Gun Club Road and State Road 37. The vehicle was in the ditch
  • 7:08 p.m. Medical emergency in the 100 block of GM Drive: A female was suffering from an allergic reaction
  • 7:09 p.m. A female was on station to report her mother missing. Police spoke to the alleged missing female who has a drug problem and who was under the influence of some type of substance
  • 8:02 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 60 block of Williams Street. The home was secure
  • 8:50 p.m. Repossession in the 930 block of Old State Road 37
  • 9:17 p.m. Washington County Police requested officer to Beaver Creek and Blanton Road to look for a male driving a tan 2005 Chevrolet Suburban. The vehicle has been reported as stolen and the driver is a missing juvenile and left after getting into an argument with his family. Police pinged the male's cell phone and that is the location where it was last pinged
  • 10:11 p.m. Report of an erratic semi driver eastbound on State Road 60 East with no lights on and entering the city limits
  • 10:29 p.m. Police made extra patrols in the 20 block of South Hills Drive
  • 10:36 p.m. Domestic fight on South Seventh Street. The caller says four people are involved
  • 11:18 p.m. Medical emergency in the 30 block of Pleasant Lane. A 75-year-old female has pulled her feeding tube out
  • 11:34 p.m. Report of a suspicious male messing around a vehicle in the 510 block of Fifth Street in Mitchell
  • 11:41 p.m. Report of an injured deer in the roadway at US 50 East at Plaza Hotel. Police could not locate the injured animal

  • 1:13 a.m. Property damage accident in the 220 block of Horseshoe Lane
  • 3:52 a.m. Accident with possible injuries on State Road 450 in the rock cut
  • 5:27 a.m. Property damage accient in the 1930 block of State Road 54 in Springville
  • 5:39 a.m. Property damage accident in the 3440 block of Pinhook Road
  • 6:11 a.m. Property damage accident at 3M Storage on Peerless Road. A vehicle struck the guardrail
  • 11:19 a.m. Property damage accident at Hardin Ridge and East Guthrie roads
  • 2:48 p.m. Property damage accident at Coveyville Road between Hardin Ridge and Wolf Creek roads
  • 3:17 p.m. Accident with injuries at Fifth Street involving a school bus and pickup truck
  • 7:27 p.m. Property damage accident with a vehicle leaving the scene on State Road 450, west of Goose Lane. A full size pickup missed the curve. The caller says the vehicle is sitting in a field with its lights on. Police say they found where the vehicle went off the roadway and looks like they came back on the roadway
  • 9:51 p.m. Car/deer accident on Blanton and Old Vincennes roads in Mitchell
