  • 4:58 p.m. Suspicious person at Wal-Mart
  • 4:54 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and 29th Street. A citation was issued
  • 4:46 p.m. Found property at Arby's
  • 3:33 p.m. Fire alarm sounding in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue
  • 3:18 p.m. Traffic hazard at Second and M streets
  • 2:23 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 3020 block of Fifth Street
  • 1:53 p.m. Fire in the 1620 block of 19th Street. Bedford Fire Department responded. It was a fire in an oven
  • 1:35 p.m. Offenses against children in the 2700 block of Eastern Avenue. A male was arrested
  • 1:10 p.m. Medical emergency in the 2500 block of 16th Street at First Care Clinic. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded
  • 10:24 a.m. Wanted person in the 210 block of P Street. A male was arrested
  • 9:41 a.m. 911 investigation in the 1520 block of 16th Street
  • 8:21 a.m. Utility problem in the 2400 block of Q Street
  • 3:09 a.m. Suspicious person at O and 21st streets
  • 2:25 a.m. Traffic stop at 15th and K streets. A male was arrested
  • 1:05 a.m. Traffic stop at Q and 16th streets
  • 12:38 a.m. Traffic stop at Lincoln Avenue at Hoosier Hills Credit Union. A citation was issued

  • 10:20 a.m. Tyler Littrell, 21, 1020 T St., wanted on a warrant for petition to modify house arrest.
  • 11:46 a.m. Justin Hoskins, 26, Williams, wanted on a warrant from another county.
  • 5:25 p.m. Jordan Yates, 29, 1916 Fifth St., wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke probation.
  • 7:15 p.m. Kayla Novak, 30, 191 Ozee Farm Road, wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke probation.

  • 12:19 a.m. Medical emergency at Farmers Market on US 50 East. A 42-year-old male was having chest pains
  • 12:22 a.m. Police made extra patrols in the 10320 block of US 50 West
  • 12:32 a.m. Traffic stop at Hoosier Avenue at Casey's
  • 12:40 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Fifth Street
  • 12:54 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at the Oolitic light
  • 12:58 a.m. Traffic stop at South Street in Avoca
  • 1:04 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at the Oolitic light
  • 1:42 a.m. Traffic stop at Springville Judah Road at the quarry entrance
  • 1:52 a.m. Possible intoxicated driver in a black car southbound on State Road 37 near US 50 West
  • 2:13 a.m. Traffic stop in the Arby's parking lot
  • 2:45 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at McDonald's. The driver was cited for possession of marijuana, no other information was listed on the log
  • 2:47 a.m. Police made extra patrols in Coveyville
  • 4:29 a.m. Domestic fight in the 50 block of Pleasant Lane in Mitchell. The caller says her husband is drunk and threatening the family. The caller says he grabbed her by the throat and threw her against a wall. He then locked her and one of their children out with no coat or shoes and is threatening to throw out other family members. She and the child are hiding in a car in the garage. The male was dropped off at a home on Blue Springs Caverns Road
  • 7:10 a.m. Medical emergency in the 6450 block of State Road 37. A 85-year-old male had fallen down the stairs
  • 7:42 a.m. Animal control to the 2060 block of Spencer Pike Road for cattle in the roadway
  • 9:54 a.m. Disabled vehicle on State Road 446 at Blackwell trucking
  • 10:09 a.m. Medical emergency in the 2750 block of Huron Williams Road. A 52-year-old female was unresponsive
  • 10:16 a.m. Traffic stop at Dixie Highway near Hubler
  • 11:13 a.m. Report of a possible gas leak at Bright Lane and Sunny Acres Drive
  • 11:36 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 60 West at Old State Road 60. A person was cited for expired license plates and operating without insurance. No other information was listed on the log

  • 12:48 p.m. Medical emergency in the 310 block of West Warren Street in Mitchell. A 71-year-old male was having trouble breathing
  • 12:53 p.m. Controlled fire in the 3120 block of Old Buddha Road, north of the Judah junction
  • 1:17 p.m. Animal control in the 1320 block of Fleenor Road. The caller doesn't think anyone is feeding the dogs and ducks at the home
  • 1:48 p.m. Request for an officer to check on a male wanted at a home in the 2470 block of South Meridian Road
  • 1:51 p.m. Medical emergency at Johnson Christian Village. A female was complaining of leg pain
  • 2:16 p.m. Controlled fire in the 3100 block of Rager Road

  • 9:23 p.m. Request for animal control in the 220 block of Rabbitsville Road. The caller says a dog sounds in distress and crying in pain. Police say the animal was fine and in good health
  • 10:04 p.m. Medical emergency in the 300 block of Frank Street in Mitchell. A 38-year-old male was unconscious
  • 10:44 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Teke Burton Drive
  • 11:21 p.m. Domestic fight in the 370 block of Martin Hollow Road. The caller says the dispute was between his two stepsons
  • 11:56 p.m. Medical emergency in the 280 block of Green Hill Addition. A 72-year-old patient was not well

Accidents - Jan. 7

  • 7:15 a.m. Car/deer accident in the 680 block of Blanton Road
  • 2:37 p.m. Property damage accident at Gas Line Road, off Sieboldt Quarry Road
  • 7:04 p.m. Property damage accident on O Street. A driver reported hitting the bridge
  • 10:57 p.m. Accident with possible injuries on Old State Road 37 and Salt Creek bridge. County highway was called out to treat the roadway

Arrests - Jan. 6

  • 10:15 a.m. John Bunch, 25, Springville, carrying a weapon without a permit, possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, dealing marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia
  • 12:55 a.m. Kenneth Carter, 28, 1431 Motocross Rd., operating a vehicle while intoxicated and other unlisted charges
