  • 11:06 p.m. Jeremy Gibbins, 38, 612 4th St., operating a vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of 015 percent or greater, OWI endangerment, OWI per se, driving while driver's license suspended with prior conviction, cited for no headlights and driving left of center, wanted on warrant locally for dog running at large, harboring an non-immunized dog, wanted on warrants in Johnson County for resisting arrest and criminal mischief

  • 9:23 p.m. Out with a vehicle at L and 17th streets

  • 4:25 p.m. Property damage accident in the 3300 block of Fifth Street
  • 2:42 p.m. Property damage accident at Jackson's Mini Mart
  • 7:47 a.m. Accident with possible injuries in the 4210 block of Mitchell Road

  • 12:50 a.m. Traffic stop on State Road 37, north of Salt Creek
  • 12:58 a.m. Police made extra patrols on Popcorn Road
  • 1 a.m. Traffic stop on State Road 37, south of Fifth Street
  • 1:15 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Oak Hill East and West
  • 1:23 a.m. Police made extra patrols in the 7480 block of Tunnelton Road. An open door was located at a home with a vehicle parked inside. A green card was left to notify the homeowner
  • 1:31 a.m. Traffic stop on State Road 37, north of Main Street
  • 1:33 a.m. Erratic driver eastbound on 39th Street from State Road 37. A silver Ford Focus was all over the road
  • 1:45 a.m. Police made extra patrols in the 110 block of Hillcrest Way and at Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene,
  • 1:52 a.m. Police made extra at Timberland Trace
  • 1:56 a.m. Police made extra patrols in the 4040 block of Old State Road 37 N; Cornerstone Worship Center
  • 1:57 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Sunny Slopes
  • 1:58 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Pioneer Trails
  • 2:02 a.m. Police made extra patrols in the 1820 block of Sieboldt Quarry Road; Calvary Baptist Church
  • 2:10 a.m. Traffic stop on Fleenor Road, north of Parks Implement Road

  • 3:15 a.m. Citizen assist at Hatfield Elementary. The caller says the cafeteria door was jammed. An officer got the door shut and locked

  • 4:03 a.m. Traffic stop on Main Street in the JayC parking lot

  • 7:21 a.m. Medical emergency in the 2550 block of North County Road 150 East. An 83-year-old female had fallen and was unconscious
  • 7:45 a.m. Police made school patrols at Needmore School

  • 7:51 a.m. Theft of items in a yard and vandalism in the 100 block of West Hancock Avenue
  • 7:53 a.m. Police made school patrols at Shawswick School
  • 8:10 a.m. Alarm sounding in the 1500 block of Main Street at MidSouthern Bank. It was a false alarm
  • 8:15 a.m. Burglary to a garage in the 600 block of North 9th Street
  • 9:02 a.m. Request for animal control to pick up two dogs that were abandoned in the 3460 block of Mundy Lane. The dogs were taken to the shelter
  • 9:50 a.m. Request for animal control to check on two dogs in the 330 block of Preston Lane. The caller says the dogs have no shelter. Animal controls found the dogs did have shelter
  • 10:04 a.m. Request for animal control to check on a German Shepherd in the 250 block of Camel Barn Road in Springville. The caller says the dog looks neglected
  • no problem, dog is thin but is well cared for. Dog is extremely old.
  • 10:06 a.m. Request for animal control to the 250 block of Harold Smith Road. A pit bull was running loose
  • 10:06 a.m. Alarm sounding in the 100 block of The Woods
  • 10:35 a.m. Jackson County Police say they are looking for a stolen 2000 turquoise Camaro
  • 10:46 a.m. A garage was broken into in the 120 block of East Hancock Avenue
  • 11:15 a.m. Animal control to Judah Logan and Ozee Farm roads for a German Shepherd running loose
  • 12:02 p.m. Request for animal control to check on multiple abandoned animals without food or water in the 5910 block of State Road 158. The owner was moving and was in route to pick up the animals
  • 12:03 p.m. Traffic stop on State Road 37, south of AppleAcres
  • 12:26 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a tan SUV on State Road 37 from Orange County
  • 12:39 p.m. A resident in the 600 block of North 8th Street in Mitchell reported finding a bag containing possible stolen property
  • 2:13 p.m. Animal control requested to the 300 block of Farmer Street for dogs running loose on the caller's property and trying to fight her dogs
  • 47-556 spoke to neighbors at 307 farmer st and advised them to keep their dogs
  • on their own property. There is still a husky running loose that needs
  • contained. UTL at this time, will continue to atl it
  • 3 p.m. Police made extra patrols at Heltonville School,
  • 3:26 p.m. Report that a truck failed to yield during a bust stop at State Road 158 in Fayetteville
  • 3:34 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a possible suicidal female teen. Police were contacted by the suicide prevention hotline and were able to trace the call to Waldron Indiana. Waldron officials were alerted
  • 4:06 p.m. Report of a black Ford F150 traveling back and forth on Younger Road. The neighbor is following the truck and it is now southbound on Bartlettsville Road and says the truck is traveling around 100 miles per hour
  • 5:19 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 1300 block of West Main Street at the Dollar Tree in Mitchell
  • 5:22 p.m. Report of a tan sleeping bag in the westbound lane of State Road 60 West at South Meridian Road
  • 7:07 p.m. Report of a vehicle parked in the roadway in the 770 Twin Bridges Road
  • 7:23 p.m. Traffic stop on South Sixth Street and West Grissom Avenue
  • 7:43 p.m. Domestic fight in the 620 block of Donica Church Road. The fight is between the callers husband and her nephew. The caller says her nephew was stabbed in the hand and he was choked by her husband. The caller and nephew have ran outside and are hiding on the neighbor's property. They believe her husband is going to retrieve a firearm and come after her nephew. A male was arrested
  • 8:49 p.m. Suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of Frank Street in Mitchell
  • 9:21 p.m. Agency assist on State Road 37, south of Speedway. Bedford Police were searching for a vehicle
  • 9:23 p.m. Traffic stop on State Road 37 at Sinclair gas station
  • 9:27 p.m. Traffic stop on State Road 37 and Art Gallery Road
  • 9:45 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Woodville Road
  • 10:38 p.m. Traffic stop at Kelly and Vine streets
  • 10:47 p.m. Medical emergency in the 310 block of Eastwood Drive
  • 10:50 p.m. Report of a suspicious male in the 310 block of Main Street in Mitchell. The caller says a male was beating on her back door and screaming
  • 10:58 p.m. Medical emergency in the 240 block of South Hill Drive. A male was extremely ill. He refused to be transported
  • 11:16 p.m. Traffic stop on State Road 37 in the Arby's parking lot
  • 11:18 p.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 310 block of Main Street. The caller says the person is knocking on her back door. The caller went to a neighbor's home in the 320 block of Main Street. Another caller reported hearing screaming and glass breaking in the area. The caller reported a male was walking east and was wearing blue jeans and a gray sweatshirt and is bald and stumbling everywhere. The male was then seen in the alley at Warren and Main streets. One male was arrested and an ambulance was requested to the scene. The male has a laceration on the back of his head. An AMR ambulance transported the male to St. Vincent Hospital
  • 11:20 p.m. Domestic fight in the 630 block of Riley Boulevard
  • 11:39 p.m. Theft in the 330 block of Bartlett Drive. The caller says someone broke into his car and stole his wallet

Accidents - Dec. 6

  • 7:33 a.m. Property damage accident on State Road 58 in Greene County
  • 7:46 a.m. Accident with possible injuries on Mitchell Road
  • 3:01 p.m. Property damage accident in the 520 block of West Vine Street. A female backed out of driveway and hit a parked car
  • 4:36 p.m. Property damage accident in the 200 block of Main Street in Mitchell. The caller says a truck drove into her yard and struck her porch and then left the scene. One of the occupants of the truck did not return
  • 6:06 p.m. Car/deer accident on State Road 60 and Porter Burton Road

Incidents - Dec. 6

  • 11:37 a.m. A male was on station for a title check
  • 11:41 a.m. A female was on station with juvenile daughter to give a statement about drug activity
  • 2:50 p.m. A female on station about a problem with her juvenile grandson.
