Arrests - Sept. 12

  • 5:30 p.m. James Wright, 36, 1911 12th St.., wanted on warrants for theft and fraud and a warrant in another county
  • 3:37 p.m. Casey Trowbridge, 36, 504 14th St., wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke

  • 10:41 p.m. Clayton Cummings, 20, Bedford, improper tail lights

  • 8:25 p.m. Traffic stop at 18th and G streets
  • 8:14 p.m. Suspicious person in the 1500 block of 22nd Street
  • 7:42 p.m. Theft at Circle K in the 1420 block of 16th Street
  • 7:40 p.m. Disabled vehicle at 16th and L streets
  • 5:54 p.m. Suspicious person at Holiday Inn Express
  • 5:30 p.m. Agency assist in the 1910 block of 12th Street. A man was arrested
  • 4:11 p.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 1140 block of M Street
  • 4:02 p.m. Open door in the 1600 block of 16th Street
  • 3:56 p.m. Agency assist at North Meridian Road and State Road 60 East
  • 3:37 p.m. Wanted person at 15th and I streets. A person was arrested
  • 2:49 p.m. Agency assist at Bartlettsville Road and State Road 58 East
  • 2:28 p.m. Disabled vehicle at O and 16th streets
  • 2:26 p.m. School patrols
  • 2:24 p.m. Harassment in the 3670 block of Pinhook Road
  • 1:24 p.m. Medical emergency at Bertha's Mission. An IU Health Hospital ambulance

  • 11:50 a.m. Theft in the 2820 block of V Street
  • 11:42 a.m. Traffic stop at 16th and Brian Lane Way
  • 8:56 a.m. Medical emergency in the 2710 block of Washington Avenue. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded
  • 8:16 a.m. Request for an officer at Bedford Middle School
  • 8 a.m. Medical emergency in the 2000 block of O Street
  • 7:26 a.m. Suicidal person in the 610 block of P Street
  • 7:25 a.m. School patrols
  • 4:40 a.m. Officers made extra patrols at Bailey Scales Road and State Road 58 East
  • 12:59 a.m. Disturbance in the 1610 block of C Street
  • 12:47 a.m. Request for a welfare check in the 1300 block of I Street

  • 11:36 p.m. Suspicious person in the 700 block of P Street
  • 11:21 p.m. Alarm sounding at Kindred Spirits
  • 11:11 p.m. Suspicious person in the 1600 block of 6th Street
  • 10:41 p.m. Traffic stop at Washington Avenue and 25th Street. A citation was issued
  • 9:41 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 1610 block of C Street
  • 9:23 p.m. Information report taken in the 1030 block of 16th Street

  • 12:13 p.m. Property damage accident in the 1610 block of 25th Street
  • 12:01 p.m. Property damage accident at First Church of God on 16th Street

  • 10:49 a.m. Adam Carlton, 47, Salem, wanted on a warrant for theft
  • 6:36 p.m. Tyler Richison, 30, 1474 North Pike Rd., wanted on warrants for battery and criminal mischief

Infractions - Sept. 12

  • 5:03 a.m. Christopher Pedersen, 48, Springville, disregarding a stop sign
  • 2:13 p.m. Alicia Parker, no age or address listed, expired license plates
  • 7:38 p.m. Deanna Abel, 45, Bedford, speeding

Incidents - Sept. 12

  • 12:20 a.m. Medical emergency at the Lehigh Plant. A person was suffering a headache and dizziness
  • 12:33 a.m. Trespassing on Hoosier Avenue across from the flea market
  • 2:08 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at the Avoca stop light
  • 2:10 a.m. Traffic stop on Fleenor Road, off State Road 60 West. Drugs were found in the vehicle and the male driver was arrested by Mitchell Police
  • 2:19 a.m. Unwanted person in the 700 block of Walnut Street in Oolitic. The caller's ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend were at the home and refusing to leave
  • 2:21 a.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 2000 block of Logan Donica Road
  • 2:24 a.m. Fight in the 700 block of Walnut Street
  • 3 a.m. Police made extra patrols in the 600 block of West 9th Street in Oolitic
  • 5:03 a.m. Traffic stop on State Road 37, north of Washboard Road
  • 5:33 a.m. Burglary in the 220 block of Rabbitsville Road. A woman came home and found a female and male carrying her flat screen television out of her home and walking towards Dale Street. The woman also found her safe missing
  • 6:13 a.m. Medical emergency in the 310 block of Popcorn Road. The homeowner had fallen and was injured
  • 6:33 a.m. Disabled vehicle on State Road 37, north of Old State Road 37
  • 7:06 a.m. Animal control at Bartlettsville Road. A large buck needed put down after being hit by a vehicle
  • 7:35 a.m. Traffic stop on State Road 37 at Wesley Chapel Road
  • 7:49 a.m. Report of a theft in the 220 block of Rabbitsville Road. A woman reported someone had stolen her television and other items
  • 8:01 a.m. Report of a suspicious person at Persimmon Park Apartments
  • 7:58 a.m. Medical emergency in the 2000 block of O Street. A woman had fallen and possibly broke her arm
  • 7:58 a.m. School patrols at Fayetteville School
  • 9:34 a.m. Police made extra patrols on Maul Ridge Road, east of Fayetteville Owen Road
  • 9:46 a.m. Animal control to Spencer Pike Road for a stray cat
  • 11:03 a.m. Traffic stop in the Hardee's parking lot
  • 12:14 p.m. Document service in the 990 block of Knobb Creek Road
  • 12:50 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a grey Mercedes southbound on State Road 37 and turning at Oolitic stop light
  • 12:56 p.m. Document service in the 1610 block of C Street
  • 2:13 p.m. Traffic stop on Guthrie and Coveyville roads. A citation was issued
  • 2:39 p.m. Traffic stop at Siebolt Quarry Road at Rogers Group
  • 3:12 p.m. A man was on station to speak to an officer about identity theft
  • 3:53 p.m. Traffic stop on State Road 60 at McDonald's
  • 4:58 p.m. Suspicious person at 60 Eastside gas station. A woman was passed out in her vehicle
  • 5 p.m. Smoke alarm sounding in the 620 block of Twin Ponds Road
  • 5:19 p.m. Medical emergency in the 300 block of Pioneer Creek
  • 5:32 p.m. Disabled vehicle on State Road 37 at the Avoca exit
  • 5:58 p.m. Traffic stop at the Avoca minimart
  • 6:14 p.m. Domestic fight in the 1140 block of Todd Lane in Heltonville
  • 6:21 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1810 block of Fourth Street
  • 6:46 p.m. Report of horses in the roadway on State Road 60 East at Sportsman Club Road
  • 6:52 p.m. Domestic fight in the 120 block of North 6th Street. A male was walking by a home and could hear a female and child screaming and things being thrown
  • 6:53 p.m. Report of a suspicious person at the Mitchell High School soccer field. The caller says a woman was asking a child if they want to be kidnapped
  • 7:36 p.m. Domestic fight at the Dollar Tree in Mitchell. A woman had been hit in the face by another female
  • 7:38 p.m. Traffic stop in the 2640 block of Springville Judah Road
  • 8:33 p.m. Traffic stop at Sieboldt Quarry and Harrodsburg roads
  • 9:07 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 158 and Fayetteville Williams Road
  • 9:17 p.m. Traffic stop at Doc Hamilton Boulevard and State Road 37
  • 9:24 p.m. Police made extra patrols on East Oolitic Road after a motorist reported dropping a woman and two small children off in the 40 block of Mason Street. They were walking from the Dollar Store in Oolitic and carrying heavy bags. The caller says the children didn't seem like they were being taken care of
  • 10:24 p.m. Medical emergency in the 300 block of Eastwood Drive. A woman was having extreme leg pain and screaming in pain
  • 10:29 p.m. Police made extra patrols on Oolitic Road and Mason Street looking for a woman and two small children. Police were unable to locate them

Accidents - Sept. 12

  • 6:37 a.m. Property damage accident on Peerless Road near the bridge
  • 7:09 a.m. Car/deer accident in the 940 block of Elkins Road. The deer needed put down
  • 7:16 a.m. Car/deer accident on State Road 37 in front of the Marion Township VFD
  • 2:48 p.m. Property damage accident on State Road 58 and Bartlettsville Road
  • 2:59 p.m. Property damage accident in the 1540 block of Old Palestine Road
  • 3:55 p.m. Property damage accident at South Meridian Road and State Road 60 East
  • 7:16 p.m. Property damage accident on Wesley Chapel Road at Roots RV

Mitchell Police Department

Arrests - Sept. 13

  • 1:25 a.m. Estell Hetrick, 36, 160 Dale St., wanted on a warrant for contempt of court

Arrests - Sept. 12

  • 2:05 a.m. Nickolas Cox, 23, Oolitic, possession of meth and a legend drug, cited for driving while driver's license suspended
