  • 7:56 p.m. Traffic stop at Shawnee and Hillside drives. A citation was issued
  • 7:53 p.m. Medical emergency in the 2620 block of Industrial Drive. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded

7:55 p.m. Glenn Collins, no age or address listed, cited into court of possession of marijuana under 30 grams, citation for speeding

  • 12:06 a.m. Medical emergency in the 830 block of Trinton Circle
  • 12:30 a.m. Traffic hazard on State Road 37, at Judah junction. A box was in the roadway
  • 2:03 a.m. Traffic stop at Ross Street and Grissom Avenue in Mitchell.
  • 5:31 a.m. Unwanted person in the 610 block of West Warren Street
  • 7:09 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1320 block of Palestine Road
  • 7:38 a.m. School patrols at Needmore School
  • 7:39 a.m. A male in the 200 block of South 9th Street reported he gave his cousin permission to use his vehicle and they have not brought it back
  • 7:55 a.m. Request for animal control State Road 58 because a horse was running down the highway about a mile and a half from Heltonville. The horse was put up
  • 9:04 a.m. Animal control to the 200 block of Pond Lane in Williams about a stray dog. The dog was taken to the Humane Society
  • 9:07 a.m. Animal control requested to the 1720 block of Spencer Pike Road because of a stray cat
  • one cat taken to humane society and one cage left.
  • 9:23 a.m. Theft in the 1290 block of Palestine Road. Someone had stolen his vehicle last night
  • 9:34 a.m. A male was on station about his brother who is in jail not getting his medications
  • 10:13 a.m. Request for a welfare check on an elderly woman walking southbound on State Road 37 from Avoca
  • 10:30 a.m. Report of a fight in the 20 block of Hillview Lane in Springville. Two sisters were fighting over a man
  • 10:39 a.m. Police were checking a home in the 1720 block of Standish Steel Road and the surrounding area for a silver Chevrolet Tahoe looking for a missing person. The missing female's cell phone pinged in that area
  • 10:55 a.m. Theft in the 8180 block of State Road US 50 East. A woman was on station about a purse stolen from her vehicle
  • 11:07 a.m. Wildland fire at Tolliver Cemetery Road and the railroad tracks. Toned out Huron VFD and they did not respond
  • 11:23 a.m. Animal control responded to Trinton Circle for a follow up
  • 11:27 a.m. Animal control to the 620 block of Pinhook Road
  • 11:36.a.m. Theft in the 110 block of Stove Road. The caller reported two chainsaws and air conditioning unit were taken
  • 11:39 a.m. Animal control requested at Plaza Motel. The dog was taken to the shelter and the owner taken to the hospital due to a possible overdose
  • 11:53 a.m. A woman in the 130 block of Goosetown Road was on station reporting a woman was intimidating her. Police say this was a civil issue between a landlord and tenant
  • 12:31 p.m. Medical emergency at Mark III Motel. A woman was having heart issues
  • 1:02 p.m. A woman was on station to speak to an officer about a case
  • 1:10 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 310 block of Terry Park. A woman from Seymour wants an officer to call her about being accused of abusing her father who lives in Bedford. She says someone has posted pictures of her father with injuries on Facebook
  • 1:15 p.m. Request for animal control in the 1900 block of I Street reference live traps
  • 1:32 p.m. Controlled fire in the 1320 block of Beaver Creek Road
  • 2:23 p.m. Controlled fire in the 4500 block of Leesville Road
  • 2:44 p.m. Police made extra patrols in the 4140 block of Fort Ritner Road
  • 2:48 p.m. Medical emergency in the 200 block of Windsong Place. A 81-year-old male had fallen
  • 3:08 p.m. Controlled fire at Meridian Road and Daisy Lane
  • 3:33 p.m. Controlled fire in the 470 block of Palestine Road
  • 3:49 p.m. Traffic stop at 15th and J and I streets
  • 3:51 p.m. Theft in the 8180 block of US 50 East. A woman reported her purse had been stolen from her vehicel and she had $3,500 in cash, her identification and credit cards in it
  • 4:08 p.m. Traffic stop at Dixie Highway and Rariden Hill
  • 4:17 p.m. Unwanted person in the 520 block of South 8th Street in Mitchell. The woman wants her brother removed from her home
  • 4:35 p.m. A woman reported her husband was mowing the grass at the home in 1930 block of Guthrie Road when he found the front door of the home kicked in. The home is under foreclosure
  • 4:37 p.m. A woman reported they found children's flip-flops and a ball at the Judah playground and believes it is suspicious because there are no children in the area. Police say the basketball belongs to the Judah Park and the flip-flops belong to a larger kid or adults and there was nothing else out of place
  • 4:43 p.m. Request for a welfare check on Stove Road and US 50 East. A male was by a tree and possibly sleeping
  • 5:04 p.m. Medical emergency in the 920 block of 24th Street. A male with a hernia could not walk
  • 5:45 p.m. Fire on Tolliver Cemetery Road
  • 5:49 p.m. Request for animal control to Walnut Heights. A woman says the neighbor's beagles are running loose and have stolen her cat food dish
  • 6:13 p.m. Report of lines hanging low over the roadway in the 800 block of Reuter Lane
  • 6:29 p.m. Theft in the 1420 block of I Street. A male was on station to report the theft of a FNH Model FNX .45 caliber handgun
  • 6:40 p.m. Juvenile problem at Grissom Avenue and North Meridian Road. Several children in the area were throwing rocks in the road
  • 7:19 p.m. Medical emergency in the 870 block of Stumphole Bridge Road. A male was suffering a seizure
  • 7:51 p.m. Medical emergency in the 2620 block of Industrial Drive. A woman was suffering chest pains
  • 7:55 p.m. Traffic stop at Pleasant Run and Bartlettsville roads. A citation was issued
  • 8:18 p.m. Report of a fire on Wolf Creek Lane
  • 9:30 p.m. Report of multiple people at the Springville School. Police say the teens were taking night photos for a class project
  • 10:04 p.m. Police were to be on the lookout for a possible suicidal male. The male is in blue jeans and a red shirt with a backpack and facial hair. The male has recently divorced and off his medication and could be a harm to himself or others
  • 10:18 p.m. A woman request an officer met her at the Mitchell Police Department to file a report from an incident on Sept. 10
  • 10:58 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1650 block of Vinegar Hill Road. A male was having trouble breathing and blood pressure issues
  • 11:10 p.m. Threats in the 1500 block of Motocross Road. A male came on station about threats made towards his 16-year-old daughter and her mother
  • 11:12 p.m. Unwanted person in the 1320 block of Trogdon Lane
