8:05 p.m. Report of an erratic driver on Ind. 37 at the Oolitic stop light.

8:03 p.m. Report of a house fire in the 1000 block of Payton Road. The resident was attempting to extinguish the blaze. Shawswick and Guthrie VFDs responded. They were only there a short time.

7:35 p.m. A woman was on station to report a child custody dispute.

7:02 p.m. Fight and domestic fight in the 3400 block of South I Street. A man was pushing the female caller around. The male left. At 8:34 p.m. the man returned and was yelling. An IU Health Hospital and Shawswick VFD responded.

6:28 p.m. Report of cattle in a soybean field in the 900 block of Heltonville Road.

6:22 p.m. Report of a suspicious in the 100 block of Spice Valley Road. A person in a gray Cavalier was taking photos of the woods. Then at 6:37 p.m. the caller reported they were in a domestic fight with the person.

6:17 p.m. Report of the theft of medication in the 2300 block of Hollace Chastain Road. The person that took the medication has since left the home when they realized the homeowner had called police.

5:48 p.m. Medical emergency in the 2600 block of Harrodsburg Road. A woman had fallen. An IU Health Hospital ambulance and Perry VFD responded.

5:33 p.m. Report of a gold Jeep driving erratically westbound on U.S. 60 East.

5:33 p.m. Medical emergency in the 800 block of Greer Lane. The male overheated and was having chest pain. A Seals ambulance and Marshall VFD responded.

5:19 p.m. Report of a suicidal male in the 3400 block of South I Street. The male had cut his stomach and then left in a gray Cavalier. Police were unable to located the male.

5:10 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a white car at Ind. 37 and U.S. 50.

4:50 p.m. Report of at a theft of a pressure washer, heater and generator from a home in the 10900 block of U.S. 50 West.

4:05 p.m. A woman called reporting the jail would not let her bail out her son.

3:30 p.m. A resident in the 800 block of Ramsey Ridge Road reported that their neighbor drove their tractor through their yard.

2 p.m. Report of a sex offense.

11:56 a.m. Report of a reckless driver in a grey Grand Am traveling southbound on Ind. 37.

11:46 a.m. Medical emergency in the 160 block of Autumn Lane. A woman had fallen and hit her head. A Seals ambulance and Marshall VFD responded.

11:40 a.m. Child custody dispute in the 660 block of Pinhook Road. The caller's ex was refusing to return the child.

11:13 a.m. A resident in the 150 block of Brick Street in Springville reported harassment.

10:35 a.m. Medical emergency in the 400 block of Art Gallery Road. A man was having trouble breathing. An IU Health Hospital and Marion VFD responded.

10:34 a.m. Officers made extra patrols at Armstrong Station and Boon Hollow roads and Armstrong Station Road and Ind. 54 because motorist are running the stop signs.

4:43 p.m. Accident with injuries in the 600 block of Old Buddha Road. An IU Health Hospital ambulance, Guthrie VFD and Air EVAC responded.

2:37 p.m. Property damage accident with a vehicle leaving the scene. The vehicle hit a guardrail and then went into the creek in the 4600 block of Peerless Road near the bridge. Someone had used the callers skid steers, without their permission, to remove the vehicle from the creek. The caller also found a wallet at the scene.

2:35 a.m. Report of a fight at Grissom Avenue and Meridian Road. The caller then hung up. There was no fight or anyone in the area.

3:13 a.m. Report of a fire at near Steel Tech. There was no fire. Police report that this is the same number of a false call of a fight was made earlier. Went to the location the call was made and took a male to the police station. The male's mother was called. The boy was cited into court for making false calls.

8:18 a.m. Report of keys locked into a vehicle at Elm Park.

11:03 a.m. A resident on West Warren Street requested to speak to an officer because a woman was making threats to kill her friend.

4:48 p.m. Report of a water leak in the 400 block of Warren Street.

5:28 p.m. Report of possible gun shots or fireworks. No locations was listed.

5:30 p.m. Report of a possible suicidal male, who has cut himself, traveling south on Ind. 37 from I Street.

5:39 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a gold Jeep heading west in the eastbound lane of Ind. U.S.60 west near Spring Mill.

5:49 p.m. Report of a domestic fight in the 300 block of Oak Street.

7:20 p.m. Report of a disturbance on Dale Street.

9:06 p.m. Report of a dog being hit by a vehicle at 12th and Main streets. At 10:18 p.m. the woman was on station attempting to find the dog's owner.

9:39 p.m. Request for extra patrol on Dale Street.

10:40 p.m. A resident on South Fifth Street reported her dog a Schnauzer ran out the door and now is lost.

10:43 p.m. Report of a dog barking keeping everyone awake on West Hancock Avenue.

12:44 a.m. Report of four or five males, with one in a wheelchair going down West Hancock Avenue throwing trash bags that have been set out for pickup.

5:52 p.m. Report of a window broken out of a vehicle and vandalism to mailboxes in the 400 block of Gasline Road.

4:55 p.m. A resident in the 300 block of Kentucky Hollow Road reported a scam and then his neighbor was burning something that smelled horrible.

4:36 p.m. Police made extra patrols in the 8000 block of Ind. 54 West after seeing a suspicious person on their property.

2:07 p.m. A motorist reported a driver in a white tanker truck had ran them off the road on southbound Ind. 37 from Speedway.

2:05 p.m. A man at the courthouse said there was someone their violating his protective order.

2:08 p.m. Report of a possible intoxicated driver in a white Chevrolet truck southbound on Ind. 37 from Monroe County. The driver was not intoxicated and was issued a warning about speeding.

1 p.m. A resident reported a person was violation a protective order in the 90 block of Middle Avenue.

12:05 p.m. Report that an infant was locked in a running vehicle in Kenwood Addition. The owner was able to get the vehicle open.

11:59 a.m. Request for extra patrol after a resident in the 1400 block of Bryantsville Road received threats.

11:48 a.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle at the old golf course on U.S. 60 East.

11:28 a.m. Report that a father was attempting to see his child at Dollens School. There was a protective order against the father.The father left, but police say the protective order is no longer valid.

6 a.m. Medical emergency at Elm Park. A man is lying face down in the hallway. A Seals ambulance responded. There was no problem.

8:30 a.m. Water boil order till further notice for North of Hancock between Rabbitsville and Meridian roads, including
Lakeside and Northside Mobile Home parks.

9:45 a.m. A resident at Seventh Street near Grissom Avenue reported there was two small children at the above location and they have been there for two hours. The children were waiting on the school bus.


9:54 a.m. Report of a possible intoxicated driver at Ind. 37 and Ind. 60 near McDonalds.

11:22 a.m. A resident at Seventh and Main streets reported a man just attempted to run him over with his pickup truck and sprayed mace at the man. Both men were on station to speak to police.

12:03 p.m. A resident in the 500 block of Ninth Street reported she came home to find her front door open. She requested an officer to check the home before she entered. There was no forced entry and nothing was missing.

1:58 p.m. Report of two juveniles walking in a field on South Fourth Street.

3:25 p.m. A resident on West Curry Street and his son was on station about a cell phone stolen from a gym locker. Police spoke to all parties involved.

3:37 p.m. A resident in Helmar Addition reported that a driver in a silver Camero is speeding through the addition. Police spoke to the driver's stepfather about the problem.

5:28 p.m. A resident on West Grissom Avenue reported an older male on a black bike is riding by her home and looking at her children. The caller requested extra patrols.

6:36 p.m. Mitchell police assisted Lawrence County officers on a domestic fight on Bryantsville Road.

6:43 p.m. A resident on South Ninth Street reported they noticed a hole in their siding and unsure how it got there. Could possible been from a law mower throwing a rock. Just wanted the damaged logged.

7:03 p.m. A resident on Dale Street reported a woman visiting a neighbor near her is caller her daughter names and screaming out of the home. At 7:13 the caller report the woman had left in a truck.

9:42 p.m. A resident on East Frank Street reported there was a small dog with a collar in her yard.

1:52 a.m. Medical emergency at the county jail. A jail officer had passed out. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded.

1:05 a.m. Report of theft of an Ipod from an apartment in the 1600 block of Maple Leaf Road.

12:35 a.m. Report of a civil dispute in the 1600 block of Maple Leaf Road. A wife had been in her husband's apartment and taken things. The couple are divorcing. The woman then called reporting her soon to be ex was harassing her because she had left him.

12:12 a.m. A male reported that he was following a man who had stolen an Ipod from an apartment on Maple Leaf Road. The male was told the owner of the Ipod would have to report it stolen.

August 27

11:28 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a female in the 7200 block of South Sandstone Road. A male had threatened to do harm to a female.

11:20 p.m. Officers made extra patrol on Graves Addition Road.

11:18 p.m. Officers assisted Mitchell police at the Fifth Street rooming house because of an out of control person.

10:53 p.m. Domestic fight in the 400 block of North Pike Road. A woman was throwing things. The caller phoned police again at 11:04 p.m. to report the woman had calmed down, but police were almost at the home and would still arrive to make sure things were okay.

9:40 p.m. Disabled motorist at U.S. 50 East and Maple Leaf Road. The motorist had a flat tire.

9:25 p.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle at Hanna Trucking. The vehicle was backed up to the building.

9:12 p.m. Medical emergency in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue because of an unresponsive male. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded.

8:32 p.m. Report of a domestic fight and an intoxicated male outside of a home in the 2800 block of Old Ind. 37 North. The male left the home.

8:26 p.m. Report of a juveniles threatening to break into a home with his friends, in the 2600 block of West Powerline Road and destroy it. Police will make extra patrols.

7:42 p.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle, a gray Dodge Charger, on Sunny Acres Drive. The motorist keeps driving through the area.

7:37 p.m. Medical emergency at the Church of Christ on Main Street in Mitchell. An elderly woman was unresponsive.
A Seals ambulance and Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department responded.

5:50 p.m. A fire rekindled at the home on Clark Smith Road. Marion and Huron VFDs responded. Firefighters did find a 5-gallon gas can and plastic bottles at the scene that were not there before. The fire was extinguished but will be smoldering for a while.

5:05 p.m. Report of a theft of an old lawn mower and other items from the 800 block of Porter Burton Road.

4:48 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 160 block of Kenwood Addition Road.

4:40 p.m. Request for animal control to Bedford Christian Camp on Church Camp Road because of a stray cat and a black rabbit.

3:11 p.m. An officer assisted Child Services at a home in the 5900 block of Ind. 158.

3:03 p.m. Report of two suspicious males on scooters at the Fayetteville Store.

2:57 p.m. Death threat investigation in the 1200 block of Spring Valley Road.

2:13 p.m. Report of a carbon monoxide detector sounding in the 1900 block of Rariden Hill Road. Marion VFD responded.

11:15 a.m. A person was on station about a protective order.

10:44 a.m. A resident in the 2600 block of Harrodsburg Road reported harassment.

10:38 a.m. Request for a welfare check on a resident in the 1600 block of South Meridian Road.

10:29 a.m. Medical emergency in the at the jail. A female inmate was suffering from low blood pressure. An IU Health Hospital responded.

2:39 p.m. Report of two suspicious Hispanic males in a yard in the 200 block of South Eighth Street. There was a truck for sale in the yard and the caller didn't know if they were looking at it. The caller requested extra patrols.

11:04 p.m. Report of an unwanted woman out of hand at the rooming house on Fifth Street. Officers responded. An ambulance and Mitchell VFD were called. The woman was in custody, but needed treatment at the emergency room. Then at 11:35 p.m. St. Vincent Dunn Hospital staff called requesting help with the uncooperative woman.
