The caller phoned police again at 6:33 p.m. reporting the juveniles are now trying to get her brother to meet them at Lawrence County Farm Supply. The juveniles were not at the business, but the keep sending text messages to the boy

6:35 p.m. A resident in the 500 block of Seventh Street reported the neighbor's children keep coming onto her property after she has asked them to stop. Police talked to those involved

8:06 p.m. A motorist at 7th Street and College Avenue reported seeing a woman attempting to break into a truck. When the woman saw the caller she took off quickly and pulled the hood of her hoodie up and headed down College Avenue toward Sixth Street

7:06 a.m. Report of smoke coming from her furnace at a home in the 1200 block of West Warren Street. The caller reported she could also hear popping sounds. Mitchell VFD responded. Marion VFD was put on standby. There was a short in the furnance

11:45 a.m. A man was on station to report he had went to H&R Block to file his taxes and that is when he discovered someone had filed taxes using his identification and social security number. The man told police he had lost his wallet last year at Lake Monroe and someone must of found it and got his information.

12:22 p.m. A resident at Green Acres reported a man in a red truck drives through the trailer park and is scaring people. Police advised the man to stay out of the trailer park

2:43 p.m. Report of a fight between two females at 12th and Warren streets. The one woman hit the caller's juvenile daughter and then left. Police checked the area for the adult woman. The juvenile and parent went to the police station to file battery charges. Police found the other woman at a home on East Frank Street when she called wanting to file charges. The woman was arrested.

2:57 p.m. Principal Dorsett at Burris School reported there was a problem at the school involving a family dispute over a student. The Department of Child Services was contacted who spoke to all involved

3:50 p.m. Report of three males walking down West Vine Street smoking and the caller believes they are too young to smoke. The caller also reported there was a Jeep blocking the street.
