  • 11:22 p.m. Medical emergency at Casey's General Store. A man was passed out in a vehicle. An IU Health Hospital ambulance and Oolitic Volunteer Fire Department responded
  • 10:06 p.m. A 24-hour nurse line requested a welfare check on a 13-year-old girl at a home in the 480 block of Yockey Estates after they received a call from the teen's father reporting he found the girl on the couch lethargic and hallucinating. The father got upset with the nurse and hung up. Officers responded but no one would answer the door. They then contacted Department of Child Services and returned to the home and no one was home. Officials began contacting local hospitals and found the teen was being treated at IU Health Hospital emergency room.

  • 1:48 a.m. A resident in the 210 block of East Vine Street reported their was someone inside their home. Their dogs were barking and they saw shadows moving. Police could find no one in the home, but the caller believes they now who was inside their home
  • 9:39 p.m. Disabled vehicle at Doc Hamilton Boulevard and Ind. 37
  • 8:47 p.m. Domestic fight at a home in Sugar Hill Addition. The man reported their son was beating on him and his wife and his son had knocked his tooth out. The parents refused to press charges and the juvenile was taken to a relative's home for the night
  • 8:32 p.m. Medical emergency in the 300 block of West Oak Street. The man was high and intoxicated and had seizures earlier. Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department and a Seals ambulance responded
  • 7:57 p.m. A resident in the 1500 block of VFW Road reported their foster daughter had run away. The juvenile was picked up by police. Department of Child Services requested police arrest the girl and contact probation. Probation says the DCS must make the request to have the child taken to a juvenile detention facility. However DCS claims it was Probation's decision.

  • 7:22 p.m. A woman called reporting her boyfriend was suicidal and she was to meet him at the Avoca Fish Hatchery. An IU Health Hospital ambulance and Marshall VFD responded. However when police arrived the male was not suicidal. Police discovered the male had called the woman from the Avoca mini mart. A witness and the male says the man went into the store to ask to use the phone. The woman said she was in the shower and that she would meet him at the hatchery. The man never said anything about suicide and the witness confirmed that. The man was arrested, because of a outstanding warrant

  • 7:02 p.m. Report of a male driving a gray Pontiac driving recklessly on Lafayette Avenue and Third Street in Oolitic. The man is racing down the road and then slamming on the brakes.

  • 5:29 p.m. A motorist traveling north on Ind. 37 reported another motorist in a silver Eclipse is tailgating her. The vehicle turned into Johnny Junxions
