1:10 a.m. Report of a domestic fight on Wells Avenue. The woman reported her husband was impaired and being violent and had pushed her across the room. Police could hear the man yelling in the background and the phone went dead. Police say the couple were going to take a walk and work their problems out

5:56 p.m. A resident on West Warren Street reported a person who was intoxicated was at the home and had taken the caller's cane which he needs to walk. Police got the man's cane back and called a family member to pick up the intoxicated individual. Then a woman called police at 5:29 p.m. and reported the person had changed their mind and didn't want to be picked up and taken to Orleans. The woman told police the intoxicated person had struck her knocking her glasses off and broke the truck windshield when they refused to take the person back to Mitchell. Orange County Police were contacted

10:18 p.m. Report that an older red truck pulled up and parked under the street light on South Fourth Street. The caller is wanting police to check it out. Police spoke to a person who walked back on the property where he saw someone. Police drove back the lane on the property at the end of South Fourth Street where a home had been torn down and saw a small fire, but no one was around the area, but there were several articles around the area. Mitchell VFD responded and put out the fire. A man did come on station to retrieve the articles found
