June 20, 2016 at 4:09AM - BPD Officers arrested Steven Stutts and Michael Dantzler for Auto theft; receiving stolen auto parts, after they were found to be in possession of a stolen 2006 Ford F250 truck. Officers were alerted to the stolen vehicle when a Bedford resident attempted to purchase the vehicle from an ad on Craigslist. The resident became suspicious to certain aspects of the sale, and he came to the police department to have officers check the vehicle ID number ...that had been provided to him by the seller. The vehicle was found to have been reported stolen out of Farmington Hills, MI on June 19, 2016. Stutts was driving the stolen truck when he arrived in Bedford to complete the sale. Stutts was also charged with Operating a vehicle while never licensed. Dantzler was driving a different vehicle, and he too was found to be driving without ever having received a license.
