MONROE COUNTY -
The Monroe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the scene where a man and woman were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide.
Police got a call sometime before 6:00 am from a home on Reba Court. That's southwest of Bloomington.
The Monroe County coroner confirmed to Eyewitness News that Kelly Doane Emerick, 48, and William "Randy" Roudebush, 42, were found dead from a shooting. According to police, it appears that Roudebush likely shot Emerick, then himself.
Roudebush was involved in several local fire departments, including Perry-Clear Creek Township, Ellettsville Fire Department and White River Township. He was also a part-time paramedic supervisor IU Health Bloomington.
Emerick was a paramedic supervisor at IU-Health Bloomington Emergency Medical Transport Service.
An autopsy will be conducted on Emerick Monday. Roudebush's autopsy is set for Tuesday.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Department is investigating, but had no comment Monday morning.
