Mitchell Man Dies In Crash
(MITCHELL) - Lawrence County Police officers are investigating a traffic accident that resulted in the death of a 24-year-old man.
Police received at 911 call at 10:32 p.m. Sunday, reporting an accident with injuries, on Stonington Road, in Lawrenceport.
When police arrived on the scene they found a 1994 Toyota on its side. Jonah L. Grubbs, of Mitchell, died from his injuries.
Marion Township Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
No other information was available this morning because the accident is still under investigation.
Jonah was employed at American Utilities and was a member of Fishing Creek Chapel. Grubbs, loved to hunt, was a member of the White River Bow Hunters Club.
He is the son of Ronald Lee and Polly (Sanders) Grubb.
Funeral services will be at Chastain Funeral Home in Mitchell.
