4 Year Old Bedford Girl Drowns

(BEDFORD) - A 4-year-old Bedford child drowned Sunday around 7 p.m. in a relative’s pool after she slipped and fell into deep water.

Zoey A. Martinez, 321 L Street, died at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital. Hospital personnel worked to revive Zoey, but attempts failed.

Zoey was with her parents, Tony and Lindsee Bailey Martinez, at the home of another relative celebrating the Labor Day Holiday.

After getting Zoey out of the pool, the parents rushed her to the hospital where she later died.
