Woman Injured In Hit And Run Incident

(BEDFORD, IN) - A 48-year-old Mitchell woman was injured Wednesday evening after becoming the victim of a hit and run accident.
Police officials were called to Bedford Regional Medical Center to speak with the woman who made the claim.
The woman informed police that she parked her car in the Thornton pool parking lot and as she exited her car, a burgundy colored Saturn SUV struck her as she walked across the parking lot.
The woman complained of pain to her knee, lower leg and foot.
