Officer Injured In Scuffle With Jail Inmate

(SEYMOUR, IN) - An officer, employed at the Jackson County Jail was injured Tuesday night when an inmate began to attack the man.
Police say that Sergeant David Drake was attempting to relocate 28-year-old Justin T. Morgan of Seymour when Morgan began to fight with the officer.
Drake suffered a hand injury in the scuffle.
Morgan will likely face charges of battery with serious injury, a Class C felony.
