Man Arrested After Theft, Assaulting Police Officer

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - A Bloomington man has been accused of assaulting a Bloomington police officer.
24-year-old James Lord allegedly punched the officer who was trying to arrest him. The officer then retaliated with pepper spray.
The man was taken into custody for allegedly breaking into an apartment. Lord and another man were spotted carrying a flat screen television across a field when police arrived at the scene.
The second suspect still remains at large.
