Police Confirm Stabbing Suspect Was Shot; Officer Recovering

(COLUMBUS, IN) - Indiana State Police have confirmed that the suspect in Tuesday’s Columbus police officer stabbing was shot.
38-year-old Carl J. Drucker II suffered a flesh wound during the incident.
He also has two broken ankles among other injuries.
State police are investigating the incident on Hutchins Avenue which led to the stabbing of Columbus Patrolman Marc Hutcheson.
The officer was treated and released from an area hospital.
