City Of Seymour Offering Free Christmas Tree Recycling
(SEYMOUR, IN) - The city of Seymour is providing free Christmas tree recycling to Seymour city residents this year.
According to the Seymour Department of Public Works, real Christmas trees can be dropped off at areas around the city designated with orange snow fencing.
City officials say that old trees will be turned into mulch and distributed to the public at a later date.
The Christmas Tree Recycling Program will begin December 15th and will continue until January 11th.
Christmas trees may be dropped off at Margaret R. Brown Elementary School, Emerson Elementary School, Seymour-Redding Elementary School, Seymour-Jackson Elementary School, Seymour Middle School, Seymour High School and the Sixth Grade Center (formerly known as Jackson County Learning Center).
