Woman Injured In Motorcycle, Deer Collision

(SPRINGVILLE, IN) - One woman was airlifted to a hospital after her motorcycle ran into a deer Sunday evening.

60-year-old Linda M. Baker was thrown from her 2005 Black Honda 600 Motorcycle following the collision.

Baker was unable to speak with police at the scene of the incident due to injuries sustained to her head; a nearby witness explained to police was happened.

Baker was taken by air-evac to a hospital to be treated to internal injuries sustained to her head.

Assisting agencies include Bedford City Police Department, Oolitic Police Department, Bedford City Fire Department, Shawswick Volunteer Fire Department, Oolitic Volunteer Fire Department, Bedford Medical Center Ambulance, Dunn Memorial Hospital Ambulance and Air-Evac.
