"Operation Pull Over" Coming To Columbus

(COLUMBUS, IN) - The Columbus Police Department will be participating in the Operation Pull Over Blitz #61 starting this weekend.

The Blitz, which begins on November 13th will continue through November 29th.

Columbus Police Department will have extra officers patrolling city streets focusing on impaired drivers and seat belt violations.

Operation Pull Over is a program through the Governor's Council on Impaired and Dangerous Driving.

The Program uses federal traffic safety funds to pay local officers for extra patrols.

Columbus is also encouraging the community to obey all traffic laws and always buckle up.
