(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - A Bloomington parole office is requiring that registered sex offenders attend a night meeting at the Monroe County Justice Building on Halloween.

Anyone registered as a sex offender and is being supervised by the Monroe Circuit Court Probation Department will be required to participate in the meeting purposely scheduled during trick-or-treat hours.

The meeting has been required by the Monroe County Prosecutor's Office for the past eight years.

Paroled sex offenders must either attend the meeting, or be available for home visits or phone calls from parole agents.

Offenders must also place a sign in their yard or on their door that reads "No Trick or Treat. No Candy."

During the meeting, the group will watch the movie, "The Bucket List" starring Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson.
