Teen Injured When Truck Becomes Airborne

(BEDFORD, IN) - A 17-year-old girl was injured in a car crash Friday evening near the Lawrence County Fairgrounds.
The girl's 2004 Ram 1500 pickup truck reportedly went off of the road after striking an embankment, sending the vehicle into the air.
Dunn Memorial Hospital ambulance and crews from the Bedford Fire Department and Marion Township Volunteer Fire Department also were called to the scene.
Lawrence County Police say that Stephanie N. Underwood of Vallonia was driving too fast for the wet road conditions.
