Orange County, Home To Escaped Inmate?

(ORANGE COUNTY) - Indiana State Police, U.S. Marshal Service, Indiana Conservation Officers, as well as the Orange County Sheriff’s Department searched the Orange County Wildwood area, for escaped inmates.

The Wildwood area is about 7.5 miles south of Paoli, the inmates escaped form Indiana State Prison in Michigan City July 16th.

According to the Jasper Post of the Indiana State Police, The U.S. Marshal's had received reliable information that Mark Booher was in the Wildwood area.

Officers canvassed and searched the area but were unable to locate him.

The U.S. Marshal's are asking that anyone who knows any information as to the whereabouts of Booher to call 1-877-Wanted2 or 1-877-926-8332.

Tipsters can also call the Indiana State Police Jasper at 812-482-1441 or the Orange County Sheriff's Office at 812-723-2417.

Callers will remain anonymous. Mark Booher is a 46-year-old white male, 5'10'', and around 190 lbs.

Booher was serving time for murder and robbery and is an extremely dangerous person.

Anyone seeing him should not approach; instead they should immediately call law enforcement.
