City Holiday Closings
(LAWRENCE COUNTY) - A list of city closings or delays due to Fourth of July.
Utilities:
- Bedford Utilities reminds the public that payments will need to be made in the utilities office by 4:15 PM on July 2nd or left in the drop box that goes into the building next to the drive up window before July 6th at 7:30 AM.
Trash Pick-Up:
- Trash will not be picked up in Mitchell on Friday, but will be picked up on Thursday. Pick-up will resume on Monday
- Bedford trash pickup and recycling pickup will not run on Friday but will resume its normal schedule on Monday.
Lawrence County Solid Waste Management District:
Closed Friday
- The recycling center on J street.
- The compost facility on county complex road.
- The administration office on J street.
- All of the departments will be closed on the Fourth of July.
Other:
- TASC buses will not run on Friday.
All Orleans offices will be closed on Friday, paychecks will be issued for pickup anytime after 9:00 AM Thursday.
