Free Fishing For All Hoosiers
(UNDATED) - Indiana residents can enjoy a weekend of free fishing without purchasing a license.
The Indiana department of natural resources has collaborated with recreation areas from all over the state to host a free fishing weekend.
Not only can adults fish in public waters but there are also events for the whole family.
From fishing derbies to fish cooking classes, the weekend is all about having fun and spending time with others.
John Maxwell with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources wants people to not only partake in the fishing festivities but also enjoy nature itself.
