(BEDFORD) - Schaffer Auditorium was alive and well Saturday evening, with the music of several different religious music groups echoing through its halls.

The Christian Music Ministries Scholarship program was holding their annual fundraiser to benefit next year's scholarship recipient.

The program featured many different local groups including The Patton's, Blood Bought, Glory Road, Mark Vice, Upper Room Experience, and overall they raised around $280.

CMMS President, Greg Eads began the fund with a group of others in 2007 and he hopes to see the program grow in the years ahead.

Past Scholarship recipients were Jeremy Knight, 2008, and Brad Bishop, 2009.
