(HUNTINGBURG) - A drug investigation in Dubois County not only turned up the drugs police say they were looking for, but also high explosives.

State police in Jasper say that during a drug investigation, officers entered and searched a storage unit in Huntingburg where they say they found meth, stolen property and material that they confirmed to be high explosives.

The storage unit was being rented by 49-year-old Kenneth Bryant of Huntingburg who was later picked up without incident after a traffic stop.

Bryant was charged with felonies of possession of more than 3 grams of meth and possession of meth near a school.

No charges have been reported in relation to the explosive materials, nor any word as to what they were, but that they were secured as evidence.
