(MARTINSVILLE) - A brother and sister in Martinsville will both be a member of the same, ultra-exclusive club in just over a month…the “Centenarian’s Club.”

The Martinsville Reporter-Times reports 99-year-old Herschel Fisher of Martinsville will celebrate his triple-digit birthday on May 20th.

His sister, Edna Lawson of Franklin, is currently 102 years old.

In America, it's a tradition for people reaching 100 years of age to get a letter from the president, and a mention on NBC's The Today Show.
