(BLOOMINGTON) - The City of Bloomington and Indiana University are teaming up to host a pair of meetings to figure out what to do with the East 10th Street corridor and the constant traffic mess it hosts.

Bloomington Mayor Mark Kruzan says 10th Street through campus has been what he calls a "mobility challenge" ever since the year 1964 when municipal leaders at the time recommended doing something about it then.

So now, city and university leaders say one of the best ways to get started is to seek input from members of the community.

A meeting will be held next week Thursday at 11:30am at the Monroe County Public Library, and a second meeting will be held at 5:00pm that same day at the Kelley School of Business building.
