IU Alum Falls To Her Death In Downtown Chicago

(CHICAGO, IL) - The high-rise falling death of an Indiana University graduate in downtown Chicago is being ruled an accident.
The Chicago Tribune is reporting 29-year-old Brittany Stafford, an Indiana native and IU alum, fell from the balcony of a high rise apartment in the western section of the Chicago Loop, the city's central district, early Saturday morning.
Police are telling the Chicago paper that she was visiting a friend's apartment on the 100 block of West Lake Street when she fell "several stories" to her death.
Police are still trying to find out how she fell.
