Gun Reportedly Pulled When Vending Company Owner Tries To Pick Up Machine
(MITCHELL) - A local businessman is pursuing criminal charges against the owner of a former Mitchell store saying he pulled a gun on him.
Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig tells WBIW News the owner of Tom's Vending went to the Dixie Chopper lawn mower dealership near Mitchell yesterday morning in order to retrieve a vending machine from the property since the business has since closed.
While the man was there, another man, reported to be the owner of the property on IN-37 south, pulled up in a white Jeep, and pulled a gun on the first man, saying he wouldn't allow him to take the machine from the property.
Craig says the man wished to file a report which has since been forwarded to the Lawrence County prosecutor's office.
No charges have been filed as of yet.
