French Lick Officer Dies In Funeral Procession

(MARTINSVILLE) - A French Lick officer is dead after helping escort a funeral in Morgan County yesterday.
48-year-old Detective Justin Mullis, who also does work for a private company that arranges police escorts for funerals, lost control of his motorcycle, ran off the roadway and landed on his side.
Mullis was pronounced dead at St. Francis Hospital in Mooresville from head injuries despite the fact he was wearing his helmet.
The accident happened on IN-67 and no one else was involved.
