(BROWNSTOWN) - A rumble in the Jackson County jail has at least one inmate facing new charges.

Jackson County officials tell the Seymour Tribune 29-year-old Brandon Kennedy, who was serving a 4 year sentence for driving on a lifetime-suspended license, now faces a battery charge after a fight in the jail's low-security a-pod, which houses low-risk inmates including jail trustees.

The fight started between Kennedy and another man, and jailers needed help from Brownstown and Crothersville police officers to settle everything down.
