After Week-Long Search, Police Finally Catch Robbins
(RIVERVALE) - Bedford police have finally caught the man who allegedly broke into a home and held the woman inside at gunpoint.
Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley says Matthew Robbins was found around 3:00pm yesterday afternoon in a car out near Rivervale.
Parsley says the Mitchell Police Department was an instrumental help in locating the man.
Police were able to pull Robbins over in a car near the eastern Lawrence County town and took him into custody.
Robbins was wanted for the invasion and attack in a Bedford home from last week Tuesday, and detectives have been making significant efforts to locate the man.
