Shoals Couple Pinched For Running Meth Lab
(SHOALS) - State police from the Jasper District have a Martin County couple in custody, and a meth lab being dismantled.
State Police Sgt. Chad Dick says 21-year-old Tiffany Rae Holt and 31-year-old James Mesarosh are both facing at least 8 preliminary felony charges, including manufacturing meth and neglect of dependents, after police saw a marijuana plant sitting in plain view while conducting a child protective services home visit.
Dick says after seeing the plant on the visit, a search warrant was obtained for the couple's Shoals home, where detectives found materials used to make methamphetamines.
Both were lodged in the Martin County jail.
