Kentucky Man Arrested For Bomb Threat In Southern Indiana
(CANNELTON) - State police from the Jasper District, as well as other law enforcement agencies, had a busy afternoon in Southern Indiana when they had to respond to a bomb threat in Cannelton.
State Police Sgt. Chad Dick says officers were called to the Schwab Corporation building in Cannelton, after employees there received a letter, and found another note written on a bathroom wall, saying a bomb was in or near the building.
Crews swept the area and didn't find any explosive device, but what they did find was enough probable cause to arrest a Schwab employee.
39-year-old James Carman of Lewisport, Kentucky stands charged with false reporting, and was taken to the Perry County jail.
