Wet Roads Blamed For Orange County Wreck Hospitalizing Two

(ORLEANS) - Wet and slippery roads yesterday morning sent an Orange County couple to the hospital after their car slid into a tree.

State Police Jasper say 22-year-old Nikiea Bowman of Orleans was headed west on CR25 North when she came to the intersection of CR525 West in rural Orange County.

She tried to make the stop sign, but slid off the road and hit a tree. Bowman was taken to Bloomington Hospital of Orange County in Paoli complaining of pain to her right arm.

Her passenger, 22-year-old Jared Crowe of West Baden was also hospitalized, complaining of pain along his entire left side.

No other vehicles were involved.
