(GREENE COUNTY) - Two homes in eastern Greene County went up in flames late yesterday, both within an hour of each other.

The Bloomington Herald Times reports Richland-Taylor volunteer firefighters were at the trailer of a firefighter that was fully involved on Base Line Road.

Five trucks responded to that fire, but one of them left toward the end to assist Newberry firefighters in Cass Township at another house fire.

Both homes were a total loss and no connection or foul play is suspected at the moment.
