(OOLITIC) - Friday the 13th truly turned into an unlucky day for a pair of Bedford men.

Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig tells us 31-year-old Chad Luttrell and 39-year-old Darrell Yates, both of Bedford, were arrested Friday as the result of a month-long drug investigation.

Craig says officers from Lawrence County, Bedford and the Oolitic Town Marshall served a search warrant on the Patton View Road home of Luttrell on suspicions of drug dealing.

Officers reportedly found marijuana, paraphernalia and Lortab, a Schedule III controlled substance, in the home.

Luttrell was charged with felony counts of dealing a Schedule III substance and maintaining a common nuisance.

Yates was charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana and paraphernalia and visiting a common nuisance.

Craig said he couldn't say, at the moment, how much Lortab was recovered from the scene.
