Census Bureau Still Looking For Lawrence County Help
(BEDFORD) - With jobs becoming even more scarce, both locally and nationally, there is still opportunities for at least temporary work, if you like people.
Debbi Andry with the Bedford Mayor's Office says the US Census Bureau is still conducting testing for census takers at the Bedford Public Library, trying to find people to help take the decennial census.
Census jobs are temporary, and tend to last between 5 and 10 weeks, and can pay anywhere between $10 and $16 per hour.
If you're interested in working with the census bureau, give the bureau a call at (866) 861-2010.
