As People Hock More Expensive Items, Pawn Shops Benefit In Sagging Economy

(BLOOMINGTON) - Not all businesses are hurting as a result of the recession.
Pawn shop owners report sales are up in a downturn economy.
At Bloomington's Ace Pawn Shop, which also has a location here in Bedford, Manager Chris Banul says he's seeing more high-end items brought in for collateral, or sold outright, as the economy has worsened.
