Obama Offers IU Prof. Her Old Job Back
(BLOOMINGTON) - A constitutional law professor at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington has been given a big promotion, back to her old job.
President-elect Barack Obama has nominated IU Professor Dawn Johnsen to the position of Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Council, a position she held on an interim basis in the late 90s during the Clinton Administration.
Both Maurer Law School Dean Lauren Robel and IU President Michael McRobbie praised the nomination which was announced yesterday afternoon.
