Loogootee Woman Strikes It Rich

(LOOGOOTEE) - A Loogootee woman has gotten a rather pleasant start to her new year.
Rebecca Lottes of Loogootee stopped at the Phillips 66 gas station on US-50 in Shoals the other day to get something to drink, found she had $5 left in her pocket, and decided to grab a $5 scratch off lottery ticket.
That lottery ticket, however, was worth well more than the $5 she paid for it. $99,995 dollars more.
The "Hot Winners" ticket gave her a $100,000 dollar prize which, Lottes says, she may use to buy her parents a new mobile home.
