(UNDATED) - Cold weather is already having an impact on South Central Indiana this morning.

To start, that wind chill advisory remains in effect for the northern half of the listening area, including Lawrence, Martin, Greene, Monroe, Brown and Jackson Counties, until 1:00pm tomorrow afternoon, and a new wind chill advisory has been announced for the southern half, including Orange, Washington and Crawford Counties, until 10:00am this morning.

The National Weather Service in both Indianapolis and Louisville are projecting wind chills getting between 10 and 20 below zero today.

And those cold temperatures are delaying schools, including 2-hour delays for North Lawrence, Mitchell, Monroe County and others.

So keep tuned to the Winter Weather Watchers on 1340 WBIW for the latest on closings, cancellations and delays.
