Washington Woman Picked Up On Felony Meth Charges

(WASHINGTON) - A Washington woman was picked up by police in a government-subsidized housing complex in the town on meth related charges Friday evening.
State police Jasper say they were issued a warrant for 37-year-old Amber McCracken of Washington for purchasing more than 3 grams of pseudophedrine in 7 days, and when they served the warrant, they say they found drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine in her home, and since her home was a government subsidized housing arrangement, the meth possession charge gets upgraded to a Class-B Felony.
McCracken is in the Daviess County jail facing other felony charges of possession of a legend drug and syringe, neglect of a dependent, maintaining a common nuisance, and other lesser charges.
