(BEDFORD) - Bedfordites can read all about the effects of the property tax reform act passed through the Indiana General Assembly earlier this year in newspapers and other materials at the Bedford Public Library, or, you can see the effects of the resultant budget reductions for the library itself.

The Bedford Public Library reports that the loss in revenue from the reduced property taxes will cost the library's budget $70,000 next year, and more than $140,000 in 2010.

As a result, the library says they will be reevaluating a number of the services they provide in order to keep their budget in line, however, they also said they plan to keep children's services and services for the unemployed as solid as they can, especially with the economy being in such poor condition as it is.
