USDA Sending $13M In Aid To Hoosier Farmers

(WASHINGTON, DC) - The United States Department of Agriculture has announced $13 million in aid for Hoosier farmers who have suffered damage to their farmlands.
The USDA says more than $13 million is available to Hoosier farmers who have suffered damage due to natural disasters such as flooding.
In order to qualify for aid, Congressman Baron Hill says damage to farmland must impair or endanger the land if left untreated, affect the land's ability to produce, and be damage that does not occur to the same area frequently.
