Martinsville Teen Succumbs To Accident Injuries

(INDIANAPOLIS) - A teenage passenger in Wednesday’s head-on wreck in Morgan County has succumbed to his injuries.

State Police Putnamville say 16-year-old Alexander Boyd of Martinsville passed away yesterday afternoon at Methodist Hospital.

Boyd was a passenger in an accident on IN-44 that injured 5 others, including the 3 other passengers in the car Boyd was in, as well as both drivers.

The driver of the first car, 16-year-old Corey Allison of Martinsville, was air-lifted to Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis.

Everyone else was taken to Morgan Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
