Bloomington Teen Arrested For Attempted Murder

(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington teenager is in the Monroe County jail facing a preliminary charge of attempted murder.
The Bloomington Herald Times reports 17-year-old Donavan Spears of Bloomington was arrested early yesterday morning, after police responded to a scene at Arlington Park Apartments where they found 19-year-old James Finney of Bloomington on the ground with gunshot wounds to his chest and arm.
Police say the incident is most likely related to a dispute over a female companion of the alleged shooter, and though the weapon hasn't been found, they did find .38 caliber shell casings at the scene.
