Shoals Teen Suffers Head Injuries After US-50 Wreck

(SHOALS) - A Shoals teenager has suffered head injuries after a wreck on US-50 in Martin County yesterday afternoon.
State Police Jasper say 17-year-old Damien Englert pulled from Irlington Road onto US-50 right in front of 26-year-old Lincoln Pickett of Mitchell causing Pickett's truck to plow right into Englert's sports car.
Pickett was not injured, however Englert suffered head injuries in the wreck and had to be airlifted to the University of Louisville Hospital.
As of last report, his condition is unknown.
