(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana University police have two men in custody after a string of vehicle break-ins on the IU campus.

IUPD Captain Jerry Minger says they were called to 7th and Union Streets Friday night to a call of two men breaking into cars by, literally, throwing themselves at the vehicles.

Police say they arrested 29-yea-rold Anthony Flanders and 26-year-old Charles Starks III, both of Bloomington, on felony theft and criminal mischief charges.

Four vehicles were found with broken out windows and Minger alleges the two men stole items from inside.

Both were lodged in the Monroe County jail.
