(BEDFORD) - Two men wound up in the clink after a complaint was called in about loud music at 7th and O Streets in Bedford.

Bedford Assistant Police Chief Dan Kirk tells WBIW News officers responded to the call late last night and ended up finding a young Mitchell man who was drinking underage, but the other man needed to be searched for.

Police found 43-year-old Jeffrey Ikerd of Bedford hiding near a bed while checking for other underage drinkers, and also found Ikerd was wanted on a Lawrence County warrant.

Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig tells WBIW News Ikerd was being charged with battery resulting in bodily injury after he allegedly caused relatively minor injuries to two women he is accused of battering on September 4th.

Both were taken to Lawrence County jail.
